Our Audiologist and Owner
Meet Dr. Jennifer Castle, Au.D.
Dr. Jennifer Castle earned her Bachelor of Science degree from California State University, Sacramento in 2008 and her Doctor of Audiology degree from A.T. Still University in 2012.
She has 15 years of experience in audiology, with more than 8 years working in otolaryngology (ear, nose, and throat) at Sutter Medical Center in Roseville. This diverse clinical background allows her to bring a wealth of expertise and knowledge to every patient interaction at her audiology clinic.
As a CODA (Child of Deaf Adults), with both parents being Deaf, Dr. Castle is fluent in American Sign Language and has a unique lifelong perspective on communication, hearing loss, and the importance of individualized hearing care.
With a passion for personalized service and patient education, Dr. Castle founded OpenEar Audiology to provide a more convenient and comfortable alternative to the traditional clinic experience. By bringing audiology services directly to patients, she helps remove barriers to care while delivering the same high standard of professional expertise expected from a modern hearing practice.
Outside of helping people hear better, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two boys, 3D printing and planting.
